PMS announcing new firmware for Lasair III 110

Enviroterm Sdn Bhd, 23^rd Nov 2016 – PMS announcing the new features on the Lasair III 110, effective immediately. All new purchase of Lasair III 110 will be delivered with new firmware.

The new firmware can be installed on any Lasair III 110, for any existing Lasair III 110 user, we will provide free firmware for APC unit purchase not more than 18 months.

Below are the new features for upgraded firmware:

Increased location storage · With many users utilizing the Lasair III 110 in a mobile fashion, the instrument is now capable of storing 1000 sample locations. This is an increase from the previous 400 sample locations. Compatibility with USB bar code scanner · To better facilitate the increased number of locations, a USB bar code scanner (PN 1000022758) can be used to scan QR codes that include location names and/or recipes created with Lasair serial commands.

Pulse/TTL output features for filter leak scan.

• Pulse output is used when very fast data is required—much faster than the standard 1 second sample interval minimum for standard data output modes on the Lasair III 110 (typical of the filter test industry). Pulse output provides data as close to real time as possible.

• Each particle creates a pulse of 5 V (minimum 3.5 V) with a width of 1 usec. There is a 14 pin DIN connector—with one pin for each of the 8 particle channels. The data output for each pin represents the differential counts at that particle size.

• The mating cable is required for the pulse output (with 1 m cable length, pig tail on one side) and is available as optional an accessory (PN 1000022707).
